Marie Curie could have done more if she didn't cry so much, claims Tim Hunt

LONDON, UK – Nobel prize winning British scientist Tim Hunt recently came under fire when he claimed that woman in labs fall in love with their male counterparts, then cry when you criticize them. He took things a step further today by stating that Marie Curie, one of the greatest scientists in human history, could have done more for humanity and science if she hadn’t cried so often.

“I read the lab reports from her work,” explained Hunt. “A bunch of the pages were wet from what I can only deduce are tears. Maybe if she wasn’t so busy crying, she could have discovered a few more elements.”

Marie Curie is considered by many to be the greatest scientist of the past century, and was the first person (either male or female) to be awarded two Nobel prizes.

“I imagine she could have won at least one, maybe two more if she had controlled her emotions and little better” claims Hunt.

Mr. Hunt has stepped down from his honorary post at University College London, presumably to choose between all the female scientists he has worked with who are madly in love with him.
