Sheryl Dorey is heading back into the work force after her third child and is having a lot of trouble finding a nanny who is willing to come to her house and look after her three unvaccinated children.
“I don’t understand what is wrong, it’s not like they all have measles right now,” explained Dorey. “Sure, they might get it soon, along with mumps, the flu, chickenpox and whatever, but that’s no reason to discriminate against me and my family.”
Several of the nannies who Dorey interviewed were turned off by her strong anti-vaccine stance and her strict rules about her children.
“She told me I wasn’t allowed to mention anything about the internet existing, no television, no medicine of any kind, I had to feed them an organic, non-GMO kale snack every 23 minutes, call her at work every 36 minutes, and I wasn’t allowed to use any hand sanitizer because it might ruin the natural germs in her house or something like that” said Robyn Daisy, nanny of 18 years. “I think this woman might be a little crazy.”
Mrs. Dorey said she will keep looking as long as it takes to find a nanny who is “awake” and tuned into the real world, as nothing is too good for her little angels (except medicine).
