This past weekend a group of roughly 13 people were admitted at NYU Hospital due to e-coli O157:H7 infections. The infection is believed to be linked to a mass demonstration an anti-GMO group performed.
One of the organizers of the event explained what happened as follows:
“We’ve been constantly challenging pro-GMO trolls to drink glyphosate and they never obliged. That is sufficient evidence for us that glyphosate is poisonous and that they admit that. But, we’ve been challenged back to eat organic fertilizer, since supposedly it’s safe. And so we all happily did it. If manure is safe for organic farming, it has to be safe for human consumption.”
When further asked if this poisoning swayed their opinion, most people replied that they are alive, that e-coli is a naturally occurring bacteria, that the infection is a mild sickness which will build natural immunity and that the poop came from free range grazing cows.
When asked why the apparent contradiction of being treated in a hospital while having an apparent disdain for science and conventional medicine, another member of the group replied “We believe in hospitals. It’s just chemo, drugs and vaccines that are money making schemes for big pharma”.
