Jennifer Mergolis, 37 of Trenton, NJ expressed anger and frustration over her beliefs that a cure for cancer was being hidden by a combination of pharmaceutical companies, cancer charities, oncologists and hospitals – all of whom she believes need the disease in order to remain gainfully employed.
“Let’s face it, cancer is an industry,” she told The Spudd. “And if they ever let cancer be cured, how many doctors would be out of a job? How many hospitals would close? How much money would Pharma lose? And don’t even get me started on these so-called charities with the CEOs making 6 figure salaries.”
Mrs. Mergolis likened the unethical behavior she feels permeates the world of oncology to that of vaccines. “It is the exact same thing with vaccines,” she continued. “When I was a kid we didn’t get vaccinated for HPV. I didn’t get the hepatitis B shot on the day I was born and look at me, I’m fine. Chemo, vaccines, it is really all the same. Just a way for them to profit by making people sick.”
When asked to elaborate on her feelings about the cancer “industry,” she said, “It just disgusts me. There is so much more money in treating cancer than preventing it. But is anyone even thinking about preventing cancer? Of course not. They’d lose too much money if they ever prevented it.”
