Area man and father of 2, Yasir Ij age 43, started developing headaches earlier this summer. “At first they were pretty mild,” he told The Spudd. “However, when I started having them every morning and had blurry vision, I knew it was time to see a doctor.” It was after this, says Ij, “that my nightmare began.”
“After hearing my story and examining me, the doctor ordered an MRI, and boom, just like that. As soon as get out of the MRI machine I get brain cancer. Literally the next day, the doctor told me the cancer was there,” said Ij.
In the same way that many holistic practitioners are blaming mammograms for an epidemic of newly diagnosed breast cancers, Ij has made it his life’s mission to warn people about the dangers of brain MRIs.
“I was told that the MRI was safe, but this was clearly a lie,” said Ij. “I entered that MRI machine a man with a headache. I walked out a man with terminal brain cancer. If this can happen to me, it can happen to anyone.”
