Child Protective Services were immediately summoned to the home of local mother of 2, Jane Meyers, after she was overheard telling a friend that she had refused to put “any chemicals in my kids’ bodies.” The conversations occurred in a local coffee shop over a discussion of the flu vaccine. Ms. Meyers expressed her objection to chemicals in the context of refusing the vaccine for her children.
Authorities were shocked at what they found in the home of Ms. Meyers. “It was immaculate and the children were well-dressed and groomed,” said agency representative Bernard Williams.
“However they were clearly dehydrated and emaciated. The oldest child confessed that she had been giving herself and her younger brother food and water when their mother was not looking.”
The children, who are currently hospitalized, are expected to make a full recovery. “Only a horrible or horribly confused woman would refuse to put chemicals into her children,” said a doctor treating the children.
