Anti-vaccers struggle to refute another study showing no link between autism and vaccines

UNDERNEATH DENVER AIRPORT, CO – A new study in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) concluded that there is no link between autism and the MMR vaccine. Here is a summary of the study from Science Daily:

In a study that included approximately 95,000 children with older siblings, receipt of the measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine was not associated with an increased risk of autism spectrum disorders (ASD), regardless of whether older siblings had ASD, findings that indicate no harmful association between receipt of MMR vaccine and ASD even among children already at higher risk for ASD.

Anti-vaccers and conspiracy theorists are working overtime to try and discredit and refute this latest nail in the proverbial coffin against the MMR/autism link.

“We are pulling out all the stops,” said Anne Dachel from Age of Autism. “We are looking at trying to connect the researchers to Big Pharma in any way we can, maybe something about the methods of the study, we’re looking for anything at this point.”

When in doubt, the anti-vaccine cult will return to their bread and butter “there has never been a vaccinated vs. un-vaccinated study” and call it a win.

Rumours are floating around the internet of an anti-vaccine super group meeting in secret to discuss this latest study which includes the likes of Anne Dachel, Jake Crosby, Mike Adams, Kate Tietje, John Stone and RFK Jr.

The Spudd has learned that the meeting may be harder than originally thought to set up, as all the members of the super group believe their computers and cell phones are being monitored.
