“Shill”, “Retard”, “Nazi” top the list of insults used by anti-vaccers

ATLANTA, GA – A new study from the CDC showed that among anti-vaccine cult members who regularly post comments on the internet, “shill”, “retard” and “Nazi” are their preferred insults towards people who believe in vaccines and science.

“We know anti-vaccers tend to be angrier than most people in general and often use physical and verbal threats online,” said lead research Dr. Jeremy Castalano (former head of the Merck PR department and a Monsanto executive). “We wanted to see which violent and insulting terms they used most often.”

The team collected over 3000 comments made on health articles from various newspaper websites as well as Facebook and Twitter. What they found was somewhat shocking.

“We found that it almost every case where the pro-vaccine science believer was Jewish, they were called a “Nazi”. Perhaps the most prominent figure being Dr. Paul Offit (the co-creator of a Rotavirus vaccine which has apparently saved a bunch of lives or something; but whatever). He gets targeted by the crazies A LOT” explained Castalano.

While “Shill” remains the number one epithet hurled at science believers, both “Nazi” and “Retard” are making a move up the ladder.

“One time I got called a “retarded nazi shill,” remembers Offit. “That one gave me a good chuckle. I almost spit out some of my Cristal onto my lab mouse skin rug.”
