NEW YORK, NY – One of the most popular Facebook pages in the world is changing their name, according to sources who spoke exclusively to The Spudd. The I Fucking Love Science’s Facebook page and website is one of the most viewed and shared websites around these days, mostly due to their click-bait headlines.
“We really started out as a fun, science page and it grew from there,” said a former Facebook page admin for IFLS. “But now the site is mostly about click-bait headlines and getting as many people as possible to go to the site and make money from ads.”
The current owner of the site is very much against the new name, but apparently has been out voted by the rest of the admin team.
“We feel that it is important to let people know exactly what it is we really do, which is getting as many clicks as possible” said an unnamed co-admin.
The name change is expected to go into effect next week.
