Woman sets record for world's most expensive urine

PORTLAND, OR – A local woman has set a new Guinness World Record for the world’s most expensive urine. Kate Marcols has spent almost all of her net income over the past ten years on supplements and vitamins.

“I spend around $500/week on supplements and another $300/week on vitamins. I just want to be healthy,” explains Marcols. “I had to sell my house and I have quite a bit of credit card debt, but I am the healthiest person in my park.”

Kate thought she may be pregnant, so she went to a walk-in clinic to get a urine test. The lab tech who checked her sample was shocked.

“I’ve never seen so many vitamins and traces of supplements in a urine sample before” said Leonard Pickard, lab technician. “I thought this may be the most expensive pee I’ve ever tested.”

Pickard called the people at Guinness to test his theory. Sure enough, Guinness scientists and a representative from Sotheby’s Auction House valued the urine sample at over $2500, shattering the old record held by Dr. Oz.
