Websites with “Green”, “Natural” or “Truth” in the title more likely to be legitimate

In a recent study put forward by GreenNaturalTruth Magazine, websites with the words Natural, Green or Truth in the name generally have more validity that sites which don’t. The study looked at several websites from across the web, seemingly at random to come up with their conclusion. The two strongest cases in the study are NaturalNews and GreenMedInfo, two sites that exude nothing but credibility and reliability to their readers.

The researchers also looked at the opposite effect and concluded that websites with boring sciency sounding names like Science Based Medicine and Public Library of Science are more likely to be spewing out government and Big Pharma rhetoric.

“Think about it. There is no way the internet would allow a site with a healthy sounding name to not give out sound health advice,” said Natural News subscriber Danny Crane. “It’s all those science sites that are actually owned by either Big Pharma or the mainstream media that are the ones you need to watch out for.”

So always remember this: when you’re reading something on the internet which is health-related, always make sure to see if it comes from a credible source – a site that has a “healthy” sounding name.

*update: The researchers are also planning to look at conspiracy websites; looking at keywords like “hidden”, “agenda” and “revealed”.
