TORONTO, ON – An unvaccinated child was rushed to the emergency room in Toronto, Ontario, Canada last night after his parents noticed he was barely breathing. Joshua Findlay, 3, had a rash and fever for several days which his parents were treating with homeopathy and natural medicine.
“We were doing our best. I had a home birth and he has never been to the hospital and never received any vaccinations,” explained Joshua’s mother, Sarah Findlay. “We thought he might have the measles, which would be great so he can get natural immunity, and we were treating him the way the Naturopath on the internet told us to. But when he pretty much stopped breathing, we reluctantly brought him to the ER.”
Upon arrival, Joshua’s breathing had improved significantly. His parents still ran past everyone in the emergency department waiting room right up to the triage window.
“We wanted him to be seen right away. We knew he was the most important and serious case there” said Mrs. Findlay.
The triage nurse and most of the department were busy treating another small child who had unfortunately been in a serious car accident, reportedly hit by a car driven by an anti-braker.
“I started yelling and demanding that someone see my son. I wanted modern medicine to cure him of whatever he had so I could back to my holistic lifestyle.”
A spokesperson for the hospital told The Spudd that Joshua was seen very promptly and treated accordingly.
Mrs. Findlay believes it was the homeopathic and natural medicine she had been giving Joshua before his trip to the ER that was his saving grace. She is sharing her horrific story with anyone who will listen: another tragic case of modern medicine not coming through for our children.
