Toto cancels rest of US tour as Ebola fears sweep the nation

The popular 80’s band Toto has unfortunately had to cancel the rest of their US tour dates over fear of Ebola. “I don’t really understand it,” said Toto fontman Joseph Williams. “Just because we have famous song called Africa, doesn’t mean we have been to Africa recently. It also certainly does not mean we are sick.”

Even so, concert goers and fans aren’t prepared to take that chance.

“Look I love Toto and I love the song Africa,” said superfan Brett McLean. “But they clearly love Africa. They blessed the rains there, and I think they may have actually already had Ebola if you listen to the song closely.”

McLean is referring to the lyrics “I seek to cure what’s deep inside, frightened of this thing that I’ve become” in the third verse of the song. This is rather disturbing as clearly Toto could be talking about Ebola.

In related news, over 100 parents in Mississippi are holding their children out of school because the principal recently traveled to Zambia…which is over 4000 km away from the Ebola outbreaks in western Africa.

More aid is needed as the world continues to fight this virus and right now it seems as though there’s nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do.
