CALGARY, AB – Scientists from the University of Calgary announced today that they are very close to cracking the mystery of what exactly was on Joey’s head.
The mystery started a few years ago when Canadian rock band Nickleback released the song Photograph. In the song, lead singer Chad Kroeger ponders “What the hell is on Joey’s head?”
Scientists and fan have been trying to figure out in vain what it was for years.
“This is a mystery that has plagued science for the better part of a decade,” said researcher Dr. April Lavene. “We made a major breakthrough this week and are much, much closer to getting the answer.”
The researchers reportedly stumbled upon the fact that Nickleback is the favorite band of anti-vaccers the world over. That’s when they had the idea to look at Joey’s head injury as a possible vaccine injury.
“Vaccine injuries are very, very rare – except among anti-vaccers of course,” said Lavene. “Based on Joey’s approximate age, we believe he would have received at least 20 vaccines before the picture was taken. If we find out that Joey is now anti-vaccine, the chances of him having a vaccine injury dramatically increase.”
