VENICE BEACH, CA – In what has been described as a “mammoth effort”, a Californian man is celebrating after having been awarded a PhD for commenting over 1,000 times on the ‘I Fucking Love Science’ Facebook page.
“I don’t want to sound arrogant but this is totally deserved. It takes a lot of effort to post a picture of Jesse from Breaking Bad saying ‘YEAH, SCIENCE BITCH!’ on every IFL Science post – but I did it and I’m now reaping the benefits” said Dr. Mike Reeves.
The IFL Science page has now been flooded by those seeking to emulate Dr. Reeves, whose PhD was awarded by the University of Phoenix. Dr Reeves is now looking to challenge the perception that great scientists require years of study, saying:
“People who say that science requires years of study and that you have to remember a lot of facts and equations have got it all wrong. There’s more to science than ‘facts’. Sometimes it’s about smoking weed and looking at pictures of stars.”
