Homeopaths being hit hard by California drought

Local homeopaths across the state of California are really feeling the effects of the current drought. With water being the only ingredient in their medicine, not having enough on hand can be a really serious issue.

“We have had to get creative and turn to other measures to stay in the black” said San Jose homeopath Paul Thero. “I’ve had to stock my shelves with more supplements, dvd’s and self help books. When I can’t scam as many people into buying my medications, I have to try and convince them all they need to do is buy a book or a certain herb and they will be fine. As long as they come back and check in with me every week of course.”

Other alternative health practitioners are not too happy about it either. Chiropractors and naturopaths are worried that if homeopaths are unable to sell their magic water pills, they may cut into their market share of useless supplements and miracle cures.

“We naturopaths have a pretty tight grip on the supplement and miracle cure industry here in California, so if homeopaths think they can just waltz in here and start stealing our patients customers, they have another thing coming” said an unnamed naturopath.

With no end in sight for the California drought, homeopaths may have to begin importing water from other states to meet the demand of their science-illiterate clientele.
