In a recent survey of everyone, Holistic Nutritionist was voted as the most bullshit medical title one can have.
“Nutritionist, and by extension Holistic Nutritionist, is not a protected title. That means anyone can call themselves one” said principal investigator of the study, July Green, RD.
“We are seeing it more and more in alternative health. People who want to sell magical woo health products calling themselves Holistic Nutritionists in order to trick people into thinking they have legitimate training.”
Other medical titles on the list included Psychic Surgeon, Reiki Master, Acupuncture Guru and Neurologist-Chiropractor.
