Food Babe takes credit for liberating The Netherlands during WWII

ROTTERDAM, NL – Vani Hari may have gone too far this time. The Food Babe takes credit for just about any change that any food company makes across the entire globe, but now she is claiming she had a direct hand in the liberation of the Netherlands from Nazi Germany in WWII.

However, history shows that it was in fact Canada who played the largest role:

Canadian forces were given the important and deadly task of liberating the Netherlands from Nazi occupation. From September 1944 to April 1945, the First Canadian Army cleared northern and western Netherlands of Germans, allowing food and other relief to reach millions of desperate people. Today, Canada is fondly remembered by the Dutch for ending their oppression under the Nazis.

Ms. Hari claims it was because of her tireless efforts that the Allies were able to send food and supplies to the Dutch people.

“I personally lobbied for the Dutch people to be given food, especially healthy, non-GMO food, during those harrowing months between ’44 and ’45” explains Hari. “I’m not sure why people think this is so strange. I have claimed credit for many things in the past and my loyal “army” just blindly believes it.”

Canadian and Dutch governments are equally angered and perplexed at this bizarre turn of events.
