Food Babe cites Dr. Joseph Mercola to reassure her fans she is not anti-vaccine

Food Babe Cites Dr. Joseph Mercola and Other Online Supplement Vendors to Reassure her Fans She is not Anti-Vaccine

In a scathing response to her critics, a loose internet collective known as Shill Army, the Food Babe, Vani  Hari launched a blistering defense in an online essay entitled Food Babe Scam: My Response To The Attacks On Me and Our Movement.” In part of the essay, Ms. Hari responded to accusations that she was anti-vaccine by positively citing Dr. Joseph Mercola and his opposition to the flu shot. That’s right. In order to convince people that she is not anti-vaccine, she referenced Mercola. One more time. Mercola.

She also referenced “Functional Medicine Practitioner” Chris Kresser who sells PurePaleo Protein Powder (Vanilla or Chocolate), amongst many other products, on his online supplement store. She also reference Dr. Frank Lipman whose online store is currently sold out of PhytoGreens supplements as of this writing. However, his “anti-aging” and “weight loss” supplements do seem to be well-stocked in his extensive online supplement store.

She also referenced the “package insert.” Yes, the package insert.

“I was concerned that Food Babe was anti-vaccine,” said concerned father Bobby Smith. “However, after reading that she based her information on Mercola and other docs with online supplement shops, I am greatly reassured. I mean, having an online supplement store is the mark of integrity in my book. What motive would anyone with an online supplement store possibly have to mislead people about vaccines?”
