CHARLOTTE, NC – Vani Hari, aka The Food Babe, was recently awarded a ceremonial Ban Hammer to the city of Charlotte, North Carolina by Mayor Dennis Thoor. The Food Babe was recognized for her work on laying down the banhammer on anyone and everyone who disagrees with her and has the gall to post to her Facebook page or website.
“Ms. Hari has shown time and time again that she will not stand for the questioning of her scientific ignorance” said Thoor. “The city of Charlotte is proud to call itself the home of The Food Babe; and we are very proud to present Vani with her very own Ban Hammer to the city.”
The Food Babe has made a living out of using scary sounding chemicals to sell books and make commissions through affiliate companies on her website. She also has one of the fastest banhammers on the entire internet.
“If someone even so much as questions anything I write or uses those evil, despicable, sexist words like “evidence”, “citation” or “science”, they are automatically banned” said Hari. “We are even working on a new pre-banning system which will preemptively ban people based on their internet history.”
Hari said she plans on hanging the hammer in the west wing of her mansion, right beneath her computer science degree.
