With the CDC announcing today that there is a confirmed case of Ebola in a man in Texas, conspiracy theories are already starting to form.
“We have already seen Twitter and Facebook blowing up with theories ranging from chemtrails containing Ebola, Big Pharma intentionally bringing the virus over so they could sell treatments and a vaccine, and many more,” said Al Luminum, CEO of Al’s Tinfoil. “We are seeing a huge spike in sales even in the few hours since this story broke.”
The fall in generally a busy time for tinfoil sales anyways, with the annual flu vaccine being such a huge deal for the conspiracy theorists/anti-vaxxers.
“Yes, fall is generally our busiest time of the year anyways; throw this into the mix and we might have our busiest year yet.”
