FDA: All homeopathic medicine must list side effects on packaging

SILVER SPRING, MD – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has mandated that all homeopathic medicines must now list all possible side effects on the packaging and package inserts.

“We require this for all other, real medicines, so why not homeopathy as well?” said Dr. Max Born of the FDA. “This new requirement will go into effect on June 1st.”

A lot of naturopaths and homeopaths are outraged at the decision.

“This is ridiculous! Everyone just knows that homeopathy is safe and effective, making us put these side effects on the medicines makes no sense,” said Mr. Paul Therolt, naturopath and homeopathy salesman.

The Spudd has managed to get hold of an advance copy of the most common side effects which will be listed on homeopathic medicines: sugar rush, increase frequency in urination, lack of dehydration, possible fluoride exposure and disappearance of thirst.
