PHOENIX, AZ – In a new study coming out of the University of Arizona, researchers have announced that using essential oils for the treatment of infections is just as effective as a placebo.
“We studied over 700 people with various types of infections, both bacterial and viral, and divided them into two groups. One group used essential oils and the other group used a placebo (non-essential oils),” explained the authors. “We found that both groups reacted exactly the same to both treatments.”
This is a huge step forward for essential oils who up until this point had been thought to be worthless, now they are just as powerful as the all too real placebo effect.
