CLEVELAND, OH – Dr. Mark Hyman is an anti-vaccine, detox touting maverick physician who works at the Cleveland Clinic (who he somehow managed to get to support him and his anti-vaccine, anti-science views, well done Mark!) Recently, a colleague and friend of the good doctor has come up with a new 9-day detox diet to burn fat and lose weight fast, undercutting Dr. Hayman’s current 10-day detox diet.
“I looked at the detox diet my colleague Dr. Hyman has come up with and sold for lots and lots of money to gullible people, and thought ‘hey I can do that'” said Dr. Herb Icide. “So I came up with my own 9-day detox diet, which is pretty much the same as the other one, just one day less.”
According to other coworkers who spoke with The Spudd, Dr. Hyman is furious.
“This is a complete and utter rip off” fumed Hyman. “I’m the one who made this bullshit up in the first place, I am the one who should be getting all these people’s money.”
It is unclear at this point how much Dr. Icide will be charging for his detox diet plan but rumors say it will be 9/10’s the cost of Dr. Hyman’s.
Dr. Hyman is currently looking at different legal avenues to block the sale of the new plan.
