Chiropractor annoys patients with overuse of puns

“Dr.” Richard Friese is in some hot water with some of his patients. Mr. Friese is the self-dubbed “Funny Chiro” and prides himself on being able to turn any back related injury into a series of puns.

“It’s really not that hard, so I thought I would just take a crack at it,” explains Friese. “Some people get annoyed I guess but most come back.”

Friese owns and operates ‘Good Vertibrations’ in southern California, a hot bed for alternative medicine. While the clinic is doing fairly well, Friese believes that once word gets out about how funny he is the clients will start rolling in.

“If people knew that they could get a laugh while getting treated, I think there would be a serious adjustment in my numbers,” said Friese. When asked about the negative response to his humor, Friese simply laughs them off and claims “those people just need to be more flexible.”

The clinic will soon be expanding to include treatment to children as well – an area where Mr. Friese believes his humor can really help. “I think if we bring children into the clinic it will be great. Parents can bring in their kids, and I’ll straighten them out.”

Friese also requests that when patients are leaving the clinic and booking a follow-up appointment, they must turn around and say “I’ll be back” to the receptionist. This has not yet caught on with most of the patients.
