In a breaking story, yours truly put in a FOIA request for one Vani Hari, aka The Food Babe. What we found out was both expected and shocking at the same time. While some of what we found was not very surprising, like Ms. Hari’s ties and kickbacks from the Big Organic industry, some others were more puzzling and outright shocking like her deal with Big Oxygen.
As per emails obtained from Ms. Hari between the years 2009 and 2014, she has received money and/or bonuses and compensation from the following:
Big Organic – over $400,000 over the past 6 years.
Big Pharma – emails suggest she was paid to be anti-flu vaccine, thus increasing the number of people who get influenza and require treatment; making more profits for the the pharmaceutical industry.
Satan – According to an overheard prayer as well as a blood pact whose details were obtained through this FOIA, Vani sold her soul to the devil in exchange for Facebook likes, website hits, and an army of science-illiterate drones/followers.
Whole Foods – Given free organic strawberries every tenth purchase with punch card.
Big Hotel – Receipts obtained by The Spudd indicate Ms. Hari received numerous “continental” breakfasts at various hotels throughout the years 2009-2014 as “gifts” from Big Hotel.
Big Oxygen – Ms. Hari repeatedly sent emails back and forth with big oxygen companies, receiving over $250,000 in exchange for complaining about the general lack of oxygen while traveling.
