Anti-Vaccer says “I must be right” after article blaming SIDS on vaccines angers many

Holistic pediatrician, Dr. Cary Palesky said that he was expecting to receive hostile critiques after he published his online article, “Vaccines:  The True Cause Behind the SIDS Epidemic.” Numerous commentators on the article pointed to large bodies of research countering this claim, none of which Dr. Palesky had mentioned in his article.

Others commented that Dr. Palesky did not seem to even understand the basic concept of the word “epidemic” given that SIDS rates have been falling ever since the “back to sleep campaign” began in the 1990s. Several commentators even targeted Dr. Palesky personally, calling him a “moronic, lying, idiot.”

“This is a delicate topic,” he told The Spudd. “I can see why many parents would be angry to hear that the very actions they took to protect their little ones may have instead killed them. But the fact that I made them so angry, must mean I am right.”

This is not the first time Dr. Palesky has felt that angering people with his comments on vaccines must be proof of his rectitude. After critics blasted his suggestion that vaccines caused shaken baby syndrome, Dr. Palesky said “They are attacking me because they fear I am right. They must feel that I am a threat to them, that I am right.   Why else would they come after me if they didn’t think I was right?”
