NEW YORK, NY – Columbia University School of Keyboards did a study of Facebook comments, Twitter tweets and comments posted to science articles and found that over 90% of comments which were made in all caps were completely false.
“A lot of people who believe in pseudoscience like vaccines causing autism and GMOs causing cancer, tended to use capslock most often,” said Dr. James Qwerty, co-principal investigator of the study. “We found that almost 100% of the time that they used the word “FACT”, in was decidedly not a fact.”
Anti-vaccine, anti-GMO and chemtrail believer Rory Adams said using all caps is necessary much of the time.
“People are so blinded by what they read in mainstream media that it can be hard to get them to really open their eyes. That’s why I use capslock almost exclusively, to get their attention” explained Adams.
Well this study is expected to be largely ignored by the pro-capslock crowd, IT’S MERITS CANNOT BE OVERLOOKED.
