2 nerds arrested after iPhone 6 lineup fight

Two men in Los Angeles, California were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries yesterday after the two were involved in a physical altercation while camping out in line for the iPhone 6. The two men, Eugene Burger and Clive McStevens, both 26, got in an argument over the camera, screen resolution and processor chipset of the new iPhone. Witnesses say that the two men began arguing over things that most people either don’t understand or don’t care to.

“The one guy kept going on about the screen resolution or something…I think. Then the other guy was arguing that the greatest improvement was the screen size. Things escalated from there,” says John Haberford, a 34 year old high school teacher.

Police were called the LA Apple store location to find both men in an intense wrestling match and both having bloody noses. The two men also began to cry when the police showed up as they feared they would lose their place in line (although it appears they were only two camping out this early). The two men passed out and were taken to hospital for precautions.

“That’s just classic Eugene and Clive” laughs Darlene Burger, Eugene’s mother and roommate. “They are always arguing over Apple stuff, World of Warcraft, Dungeons and Dragons, you name it. But they are good friends and I’m sure it will all be fine.”

The police have released the two men without charges. They were last seen playing magic cards outside of the LA Apple store, where they are still the first and only people in line.
